Join Reach & Belong for our first NDIS Golf Open Day on Saturday, 27th of May from 1-3pm.
This is great opportunity for all interested NDIS participants to come try golf, meet new people, and enjoy a free sausage sizzle.
Golf at Reach & Belong is one of most popular programs, combining socialising with learning. Our golf program, designed by Sandy Jamieson, places a focus on individual golf skill development. This incorporates speed of play, safety, personal skillability, course care and community engagement into our games. We play at Oakleigh Public Golf Course, which is a beautiful 9-hole course, great for all skill abilities. Each Tuesday and Saturday Afternoon, our golf participants enjoy an afternoon session making friends and playing lots of golf. On Saturdays at the end of the day afternoon tea is also provided at no charge. NDIS fees apply to our golf programs but there are no out of pocket costs.
One of our participants when asked about the program said, “I love playing golf every week. It is something I never thought I would be able to do and to be playing on this beautiful course with my friends each week really makes a difference in my life.”

For many of our players their biggest hurdle was that thinking they needed to have played some golf to join the program. That is not the case. Beginners through to players with some golf experience will delight in this all abilities program.
All our coaches are Golf Australia community-coach accredited and half of our coaching team are on NDIS Plans.
