Creative Activities with NDIS

At Reach & Belong we offer Melbourne NDIS Participants a growing list of Creative Activities including: Art Classes, Drama and Theatre Skills, Art, Sewing, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths) and Music programs.

Our instructors specialise in their field and bring this knowledge to our day programs, after-school and school-holiday programs.

Through our programs we go on excursions, work within public spaces as well as in our community hub venues, and we do cross program collaboration.

Our Key Creative Activities

NDIS Art Classes across Melbourne

Our Art program explores different artists, techniques, mediums which means that one week you might be making a wooden box to decorate to the next week working with clay. We always have lots of different activities on the go during any program so if you want to work on something else you will have different options to choose from. Our Managing Director Fiona has had a previous career in television and media including editor of Australian Photography so has lots of experience, insight and encouragement to offer participants.

Drama and Theatre Skills

Drama and Theatre Skills has taken us into urban settings and natural landscapes for inspiration along with working within our venues. Our Drama and Theatre Skills Activity covers voice skills, the study of movement, theatre history and design, scriptwork, film analysis, backstage work, creating a production.

Creative Activities Continued…

Sewing

Sewing uses digital sewing machines to make projects which you can take home. The projects have been designed for their simplicity as an introduction to sewing and as your skills increase so does the complexity of the projects. The projects that have been designed for this program are just so snazzy and designed to inspire. This is one program to definitely try and join as numbers are limited.

STEAM

STEAM is designed to explore our wondrous world through Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths. This program is for curious minds to do experiments, create, question, discover, discuss, and be amazed.

Music

Music is another creative program which we offer and includes music production, d-jaying, playing instruments and just tapping into your creative musical vibes.

We plan to expand our list of Creative Activities so NDIS participants can also explore other rewarding and creative outlets.
